$\Leftrightarrow$ $x^2+x+7x+7-(x^2-2x+1)=4$
$\Leftrightarrow$ $x^2+x+7x+7-x^2+2x-1=4$
$\Leftrightarrow$ $10x+6=4$
$\Leftrightarrow$ $10x=4-6$
$\Leftrightarrow$ $10x=-2$
