    =-1/2+1/4
    =-2/4+1/4
    =-1/4

    =6/60+5/60+4/60
    =15/60
    =1/4

    =(-8)/(12)+9/(12)-(6)/(12)+(2)/(12)
    =(-8+9-6+2)/(12)
    =-3/(12)
    =-1/4
    b) 1/(10)-(-1)/(12)+1/(15)
    1/(10)+(1)/(12)+1/(15)
    =6/(60)+(5)/(60)+(4)/(60)
    =(6+5+4)/(60)
    =(15)/(60)
    =1/4
