    2 $\sqrt{a}$ + 4 = a + 1
    ⇔ a – 2 $\sqrt{a}$ + 1 = 4
    ⇔ ($\sqrt{a}$ – 1)² = 4
    ⇔ $\sqrt{a}$ – 1 = 2
    ⇔ $\sqrt{a}$ = 3
    ⇔ a = 9
