2x + 3$\sqrt{ 3x – 6 }$ + 16
= 2 ( x + 3/2$\sqrt{ 3 . ( x – 2 ) }$ + 8 )
= 2 ( x + 3/2$\sqrt{ 3 }$ . $\sqrt{ x – 2 }$ + 8 )
= 2 [ ( x – 2 ) + 3/2$\sqrt{ 3 }$ . $\sqrt{ x – 2 }$ + 10 )
Đặt a = $\sqrt{ x – 2 }$ ( a ≥ 0 ) , ta có :
2 ( a² + $\dfrac{ 3\sqrt{3} }{ 2 }$ . a + 10 )
= 2 ( a² + 1/2 . a . $\dfrac{ 3\sqrt{3} }{ 4 }$ + 6,75 + 3,25 )
= 2 [ a² + 1/2 . a . $\dfrac{ 3\sqrt{3} }{ 4 }$ + ( $\dfrac{ 3\sqrt{3} }{ 4 }$ )² + 3,25 ]
= 2 [ ( a + $\dfrac{ 3\sqrt{3} }{ 4 }$ )² + 3,25 ]
= 2 ( a + $\dfrac{ 3\sqrt{3} }{ 4 }$ ) ² + 6,5
Ta có : 2 ( a + $\dfrac{ 3\sqrt{3} }{ 4 }$ ) ² + 6,5 ≥ 6,5
Dấu ” = ” xảy ra khi a = -$\dfrac{ 3\sqrt{3} }{ 4 }$
Mà a ≥ 0 nên ta loại đáp án
⇒ Giá trị nhỏ nhất của biểu thức khi a = 0
⇒ x – 2 = 0
⇒ x = 2
Giá trị nhỏ nhất của g ( x ) là :
g ( x ) = 2 . 2 + 3 . 0 + 16
g ( x ) = 4 + 16
g ( x ) = 20
Vậy Min g ( x ) = 20 khi x = 2
