    $\text{⇒2×(x+1)=23-5}$
    $\text{⇒2×(x+1)=18}$
    $\text{⇒x+1=18÷2}$
    $\text{⇒x+1=9}$
    $\text{⇒x=9-1}$
    $\text{⇒x=8}$
    $\text{Vậy x=8}$

    2x+2=23-5
    2x+2=18
    2x=18-2
    2x=16
    x=16:2
    x=8
    Vậy x=8
