    E = cos² a – tan $60^o$ + cot $45^o$ – 2.sin $30^o$ + cos² a.tan² a (*) với $0^o$ < a < $90^o$
    Có: tan a = $\frac{sin a}{cos a}$ (Công thức bài 14 sgk)
    ⇔ sin a = tan a.cos a
    ⇔ sin² a = tan² a.cos² a 
    (*) = cos² a – $\sqrt{3}$ + 1 – 2.$\frac{1}{2}$ + sin² a
         = (cos² a + sin² a) – $\sqrt{3}$ + 1 – 1
         = 1 – $\sqrt{3}$ (Có: sin² a + cos² a = 1)

    E=\cos^{2}\alpha-\tan60^0+\cot45^0-2\sin30^0+\cos^{2}\alpha.\tan^{2}\alpha
    E=\cos^2\alpha-\sqrt{3}+1-2.(1)/2+\cos^2\alpha.(\sin^2\alpha)/(\cos^2\alpha)
    E=\cos^2\alpha-\sqrt{3}+1-1+\sin^2\alpha
    E=(\sin^2\alpha+\cos^2\alpha)-\sqrt{3}
    E=1-\sqrt{3}
