    = 2 – ( 14/18 + 15/18 )
    = 2 – ( { 14 + 15 }/18 )
    = 2 – 29/18
    = 36/18 – 29/18
    = { 36 – 29 }/18
    = 7/18
    3/4 + 1/4 : 3/4
    = 3/4 + 1/4 × 4/3
    = 3/4 + { 1 × 4 }/{ 4 × 3 }
    = 3/4 + 1/3
    = 9/12 + 4/12
    = { 9 + 4 }/12
    = 13/12

    = 2 – $\dfrac{29}{18}$

    = $\dfrac{36-29}{18}$ 
    = $\dfrac{7}{18}$
