    $\sqrt{x-1}$ + $\sqrt{2x-1}$ = 5 (x\ge1)$\\$ $\Leftrightarrow$ $\sqrt{x-1}$ = 5 -$\sqrt{2x-1}$$\\$ $\Rightarrow$ $x-1=25-10$$\sqrt{2x-1}$ $+ 2x-1$$\\$ $\Leftrightarrow$ $x=25-10\sqrt{2x-1} + 2x$$\\$$\Leftrightarrow$ $10\sqrt{2x-1}=25+2x-x$$\\$$\Leftrightarrow$ $200x-100=625+50x+x^{2}$ $\\$ $\Leftrightarrow$ $x^{2}-150x+725 = 0$$\\$$\Leftrightarrow$ $(x-5)(x-145)=0$ $\\$$\Leftrightarrow$ $\left[\begin{matrix} x-145=0\\x-5=0\end{matrix}\right.$$\\$$\Leftrightarrow$ $\left[\begin{matrix} x=145\\ x=5\end{matrix}\right.$
    Thử 2 nghiệm ta được kết quả: 
    $\sqrt{5-1}$ + $\sqrt{2.5-1}$ =5
    $\sqrt{145-1}$ + $\sqrt{2.145-1}$ =29 (loại)
    $\Rightarrow$ x=5
    Vậy nghiệm của phương trình là x=5

    ⇔\sqrt{x-1}+\sqrt{2x-1}-5=0
    ⇔(\sqrt{x-1}-2)+(\sqrt{2x-1}-3)=0
    ⇔((\sqrt{x-1}-2)(\sqrt{x-1}+2))/(\sqrt{x-1}+2)+((\sqrt{2x-1}-3)(\sqrt{2x-1}+3))/(\sqrt{2x-1}+3)=0
    ⇔(x-1-4)/(\sqrt{x-1}+2)+(2x-1-9)/(\sqrt{2x-1}+3)=0
    ⇔(x-5)/(\sqrt{x-1}+2)+(2x-10)/(\sqrt{2x-1}+3)=0
    ⇔(x-5)/(\sqrt{x-1}+2)+(2(x-5))/(\sqrt{2x-1}+3)=0
    ⇔(x-5)(1/(\sqrt{x-1}+2)+2/(\sqrt{2x-1}+3))=0
    Vì 1/(\sqrt{x-1}+2)+2/(\sqrt{2x-1}+3)ne0
    ⇒x-5=0
    ⇔x=5(tm)
    Vậy S={5}
