    (ĐKXĐ : x≥-2; ĐK để phương trình có nghiệm : x≤4)
    \sqrt{x+2}+x=4  
    ⇔\sqrt{x+2}=4-x
    ⇔\sqrt{(x+2)^2}=(4-x)^2
    ⇔x+2=16-8x+x^2
    ⇔x^(2)-9x+14=0
    ⇔x^(2)-2x-7x+14=0
    ⇔x(x-2)-7(x-2)=0
    ⇔(x-2)(x-7)=0
    $⇔\left[\begin{matrix}x-2=0\\ x-7=0\end{matrix}\right.$
    $⇔\left[\begin{matrix}x=2 ™ \\ x=7 (loại) \end{matrix}\right.$
    Vậy S={2}
