    $\frac{x^2 – 5}{x^2 + 1}$ = $\frac{3}{4}$
    => ( x^2 – 5 ) . 4 = ( x^2 + 1 ) . 3
    => 4x^2 – 20 = 3x^2 + 3
    => 4x^2 – 3x^2 = 3 + 20
    => x^2 = 23
    =>   x = $\pm$ $\sqrt{23}$
      Vậy x $\in$ { $\sqrt{23}$ ; – $\sqrt{23}$ }

    Lời giải và giải thích chi tiết:
     (x^2 – 5)/(x^2 + 1) = 3/4
    => 4 (x^2 – 5) = 3 (x^2 + 1)
    => 4x^2 – 20 = 3x^2 + 3
    => 4x^2 – 3x^2 = 3+20
    => x^2 = 23
    => x^2 = (+-\sqrt{23})^2
    =>x \in{\sqrt{23} ; – \sqrt{23}}
    Vậy x \in{\sqrt{23} ; – \sqrt{23}}
