    $ a) 8 – 11 = – ( 11 – 8 ) = -3 $
    $ b) 20 – 15 = 5 $
    $ c) 2x – ( 3 + x ) = 5 – 7 $
    $ 2x – 3 – x = -2 $
    $ x – 3 = -2 ⇒ x = -2 + 3 = 1 $ 
    $ d) ( 3x-2^4 ) . 7^5 = 2.7^6 ⇒ 3x – 16 = 2.7^6 :7^5 =2.7=14 $
    $ 3x=14+16=30 ⇒ x = 30:3=10 $
