$= (3-6)+(9-12)+(15-18)+(21-24)$
$= (-3)+(-3)+(-3)+(-3)$
$= (-3).4$
$= -12$
3 – 6 + 9 – 12 + 15 – 18 + 21 – 24 = 3 – ( 6+24 ) + (9 + 21)- ( 12+18 ) + 15
= 3- 30+30 – 30 + 15
= -13
