    a) $\dfrac{19}{24}$ – $\dfrac{3}{8}$ = $\dfrac{19}{24}$ – $\dfrac{9}{24}$ = $\dfrac{10}{24}$ = $\dfrac{5}{12}$
    b) $\dfrac{17}{14}$ – $\dfrac{5}{7}$ =  $\dfrac{17}{14}$ – $\dfrac{10}{14}$ = $\dfrac{7}{14}$ = $\dfrac{1}{2}$
    c) $\dfrac{11}{15}$ + $\dfrac{6}{9}$ = $\dfrac{33}{45}$ + $\dfrac{30}{45}$ = $\dfrac{63}{45}$=$\dfrac{7}{5}$
    d) $\dfrac{13}{6}$ + $\dfrac{7}{32}$ = $\dfrac{208}{96}$ + $\dfrac{21}{96}$ = $\dfrac{229}{96}$

    19/24 – 3/8 = 19/24 – 9/24 = 10/24 = 5/12
    17/14 – 5/7 = 17/14 – 10/14 = 7/14 = 1/2
    11/15 + 6/9 = 33/45 + 30/45 = 63/45 = 7/5
    13/6 + 7/32 = 208/96 + 21/96 = 229/96
