     x(x-7)+2x-14=0
    <=>x(x-7)+2(x-7)=0
    <=>(x-7)(x+2)=0
    <=>$\left[\begin{matrix} x-7=0\\ x+2=0\end{matrix}\right.$
    <=>$\left[\begin{matrix} x=7\\ x=-2\end{matrix}\right.$
     Vậy x=7 hoặc x=-2

    x(x-7)+2x-14=0
    x(x-7)+(2x-14)=0
    x(x-7)+2(x-7)=0
    (x-7).(x+2)=0
    →x-7=0 hoặc x+2=0
    x-7=0
    x=0+7
    x=7
    x+2=0
    x=0-2
    x=-2
    Vậy x=7 hoặc x=-2
