    R = $\frac{x + 3}{\sqrt{x} + 1}$ Đkxđ: x ≥ 0
       = $\sqrt{x}$ – 1 + $\frac{4}{\sqrt{x} + 1}$
       = $\sqrt{x}$ + 1 + $\frac{4}{\sqrt{x} + 1}$ – 2
    Với x ≥ 0 thì $\sqrt{x}$ + 1 dương và $\frac{4}{\sqrt{x} + 1}$ dương
    Áp dụng bất đẳng thức Cô-si cho 2 số dương $\sqrt{x}$ + 1 và $\frac{4}{\sqrt{x} + 1}$ ta được:
        $\sqrt{x}$ + 1 + $\frac{4}{\sqrt{x} + 1}$ ≥ 2$\sqrt{(\sqrt{x} + 1).\frac{4}{\sqrt{x} + 1}}$ = 4
    ⇔ $\sqrt{x}$ + 1 + $\frac{4}{\sqrt{x} + 1}$ – 2 ≥ 2
    ⇔ R ≥ 2
    Dấu “=” xảy ra ⇔ $\sqrt{x}$ + 1 = $\frac{4}{\sqrt{x} + 1}$
                            ⇔ ($\sqrt{x}$ + 1)² = 4
                            ⇔ |$\sqrt{x}$ + 1| = 2
                            ⇔ \(\left[ \begin{array}{l}\sqrt{x} + 1 = 2\\\sqrt{x} + 1 = -2\end{array} \right.\) 
                            ⇔ \(\left[ \begin{array}{l}x = 1 (t/m)\\x ∈ ∅\end{array} \right.\) 
    Vậy R min = 2 khi x =1
