         ( x -1)² + 4x – 4 = 6
    ⇔x²-2x+1+4x-4-6=0
    ⇔x²+2x-9=0
    ⇔x²+2x+1=10
    ⇔(x+1)²=10
    ⇔|x+1|=$\sqrt{10}$
    ⇔\(\left[ \begin{array}{l}x+1=\sqrt{10}\\x+1=\sqrt{-10}\end{array} \right.\)
    ⇔\(\left[ \begin{array}{l}x=\sqrt{10}-1\\x=\sqrt{-10}-1\end{array} \right.\)
    Vậy x= $\sqrt{10}$ -1 hoặc x= $\sqrt{-10}$ -1
