    Đặt: $f(x)=x^2-ax+4$
    $g(x)=x-1$
    Để $f(x) \vdots g(x)$
    $⇒$ $f(1)=0$
    $⇒$ $f(1)=1^2-a.1+4=0$
    $⇒$ $f(1)=1-a+4=0$
    $⇒$ $f(1)=5-a=0$
    $⇒$ $a=5$

    Áp dụng định lý Bơ-du ta có :
    x-1=0
    ⇔x=1
    Thay x=1 vào đa thức
    1^2-a.1+4=0
    ⇔1-a+4=0
    ⇔5-a=0
    ⇔a=5
    Vậy a=5 thì x^2-ax+4 chia hết cho x-1
