Lời giải và giải thích chi tiết:

x(x+1)(x-1)(x+2)=24

⇔[x(x+1)][(x-1)(x+2)]=24

⇔(x^2+x)(x^2+2x-x-2)=24

⇔(x^2+x)(x^2+x-2)=24

Đặt t=x^2+x,có:

t(t-2)=24

⇔t^2-2t-24=0

⇔t^2-6t+4t-24=0

⇔t(t-6)+4(t-6)=0

⇔(t-6)(t+4)=0

1)t-6=0⇔x^2+x-6=0⇔x^2+3x-2x-6=0⇔x(x+3)-2(x+3)=0⇔(x+3)(x-2)=0⇔\(\left[ \begin{array}{l}x+3=0\\x-2=0\end{array} \right.\)⇔\(\left[ \begin{array}{l}x=-3\\x=2\end{array} \right.\)

2)t+4=0⇔x^2+x+4=0⇔x^2+x=-4(vô nghiệm)

Vậy S={-3;2}
