This can be calculated as follows:
When a rectangle is formed by m*n identical squares , then the total number of squares crossed by a diagonal of the rectangle is m + n – HCF of m and n .
In this case , m= 199 , n = 991 and HCF = 1 . Thus number of squares crossed = 199+991–1 = 1189.
Professor is gay male. His son is adopted by him and his partner, making them both his fathers. Professor’s husband is talking to Professor’s brother.
The son is adopted by Professor and spouse. Years later his biological father tracked him down and met with the family, leading to a scenario where the biological father is talking to the Professor’s brother. Professor can be male, female, gay, straight, anything in this scenario.
