x(3x + 2) + (x + 1)^2 – (2x – 5)(2x + 5) = 0

=> 3x^2 + 2x + x^2 + 2x + 1 – (2x)^2 + 5^2 = 0

=> 3x^2 + 2x + x^2 + 2x + 1 – 4x^2 + 25 = 0

=> 4x + 26 = 0

=> 4x = -26

=> x = -13/2

⇔3x^2+2x+x^2+2x+1-[(2x)^2-5^2]=0

⇔3x^2+2x+x^2+2x+1-(4x^2-25)=0

⇔3x^2+2x+x^2+2x+1-4x^2+25=0

⇔(3x^2+x^2-4x^2)+(2x+2x)+(1+25)=0

⇔4x+26=0

⇔4x=-26

⇔x=-13/2
