     x^2-x-12=0
    <=> x^2-4x+3x-12=0
    <=> (x^2-4x)+(3x-12)=0
    <=> x(x-4)+3(x-4)=0
    <=> (x+3)(x-4)=0
    <=> [(x+3=0),(x-4=0):}
    <=> [(x=0-3),(x=0+4):}
    <=> [(x=-3),(x=4):}
    Vậy x \in {-3;4}

     $x²-x-12=0$
    $⇔ x²+3x-4x-12=0$
    $⇔ (x²+3x)-(4x+12)=0$
    $⇔ x.(x+3)-4.(x+3)=0$
    $⇔ (x-4).(x+3)=0$
    $⇔$ \(\left[ \begin{array}{l}x-4=0\\x+3=0\end{array} \right.\) $⇔$ \(\left[ \begin{array}{l}x=4\\x=-3\end{array} \right.\) 
    $\text{ Vậy x ∈ {4;-3}}$
