    (2x + 3)^2 + x(1 – 4x) = -4
    4x^2 + 12x + 9 + x – 4x^2 = -4
    13x + 9 = -4
    13x = -13
    x = -1
    Vậy x = -1

    $(2x + 3)^2 + x(1 – 4x) = -4$
    $(2x)^2 + 2.2x.3 + 3^2 + x.1 – x.4x = -4$
    $4x^2 + 12x + 9 + x – 4x^2 = -4$
    $4x^2 – 4x^2 + 12x + x + 9 = -4$
    $13x + 9 = -4$
    $13x = -4 – 9$
    $13x = -13$
    $x = -13 : 13$
    $x = -1$
    \text{Vậy} $x = -1$
