    (x+7)(3x-1) = 49 – $x^{2}$ 
    ⇔ (x+7)(3x-1) – (7-x)(7+x) = 0
    ⇔ (x+7)(3x-1-7+x) = 0
    ⇔ (x+7)(4x-8) = 0
    TH1: x+7 = 0
    ⇔ x= -7
    TH2: 4x -8 = 0
    ⇔ 4x = 8
    ⇔ x = 2

    (x + 7)(3x – 1) = 49 – x^2
    ⇔ (x + 7)(3x – 1)  + x^2 – 49 = 0
    ⇔ (x + 7)(3x – 1) + (x + 7)(x – 7) = 0
    ⇒ (x + 7)(3x – 1 + x – 7) = 0
    ⇔ (x + 7)(4x – 8) = 0
    ⇔ (x + 7) . 4(x – 2) = 0
    ⇒ \(\left[ \begin{array}{l}x = -7\\x = 2\end{array} \right.\) 
    Vậy  S = {2 ; -7}
