a) x + 44 = 27

<=> x = 27 – 44

<=> x = – 17

b) x – 22 = 12 + (- 4)

<=> x – 22 = 12 – 4

<=> x – 22 = 8

<=> x = 8 + 22

<=> x = 30

$\\$

c) x – 9 = (- 24)

<=> x = – 24 + 9

<=> x = – 15

$\\$

d) – x + 8 = (- 17)

<=> -x = – 17 – 8

<=> x = – 25

<=> x = 25

$\\$

e) (- 19) – x = – 20

<=> x = 19 – 20

<=> x = – 1

x = 27 – 44 = -17

b, x – 22 = 12 + (-4) = -8

x = -8 + 22 = 14

c, x-9=(-24)

x = -24 + 9 = -15

d, – x + 8 = (-17)

x = (-17) – 8 = -25

e, (-19) – x = -20

x = -19 – 20

x = -39
