     \sqrt{5x+6}=x-6
    ĐK: x \ge 6
    ⇔ 5x+6=(x-6)^2
    ⇔ 5x+6=x^2-12x+36
    ⇔ x^2-17x+30=0
    ⇔ x^2-2x-15x+30=0
    ⇔ (x-15)(x-2)=0
    ⇔ \(\left[ \begin{array}{l}x=15\ (TM)\\x=2\ (L)\end{array} \right.\) 
    Vậy S={15}

    Lời giải và giải thích chi tiết:

    sqrt{5x+6} = x – 6(*)

    ĐKXĐ : x -6 \ge 0 <=> x \ge 6

    (*)=> 5x +6 = ( x – 6 )^2

    <=> 5x + 6 = x^2 – 12x + 36

    <=> x^2 -12x -5x +36 – 6 = 0

    <=> x^2 -17x +30 = 0

    <=>$\left[\begin{matrix} x=15(Nhận)\\ x=2(Loại)\end{matrix}\right.$

    Vậy phương trình có nghiệm duy nhất x = 15
