    1. x^2-2x-7=0
    <=> x^2 -2x +1 – 8=0
    <=> (x-1)^2=8
    =>  $\left[\begin{matrix} x=\sqrt[]{8}+1\\ x=1-\sqrt[]{8}\end{matrix}\right.$
    2x^2-14x+24=0
    <=> x^2-7x+12=0
    <=> x^2-3x-4x+12=0
    <=> x(x-3)-4(x-3)=0
    =>(x-4)(x-3)=0
    => $\left[\begin{matrix} x=4\\ x=3\end{matrix}\right.$

    ⇔ (x – 1)^2 – 8 = 0
    ⇔ (x – 1)^2 – sqrt(8^2) = 0
    ⇔ (x – 1 + sqrt8)(x – 1 – sqrt8) = 0
    ⇔ [(x = -1 – sqrt8),(x = -1 + sqrt8):}
    b, x^2 – 14x + 24 = 0
    ⇔ (x – 2)(x – 12) = 0
