    a) ( -120 ) : 15 + 12 . ( 2x – 1 ) = 52
        ( -8 ) + 12 . 2x – 12 = 52
        24x – 20 = 52
        24x = 52 + 20
        24x = 72
        x = 3
     Vậy x = 3
    b) 124 – 3.x = -16
         3x = 124 – ( -16 )
         3x = 124 + 16
         3x = 140
         x = $\dfrac{140}{3}$
     Vậy x = $\dfrac{140}{3}$

    Lời giải và giải thích chi tiết:
    (-120) : 15 + 12. (2x – 1) = 52
               -8 + 12. (2x – 1)   = 52 
                     12. (2x – 1)     = 52 + 8 = 60
                            2x – 1      = 60 : 12 = 5
                              2x          = 5 +1 = 6
                                      x    = 6 : 2 =3
                                   Vậy x = 3
    124-3.x=-16 
        3x = 124 – ( -16 ) =140
          x =140 : 3
          x = $\frac{140}{3}$ 
    Vậy x =  $\frac{140}{3}$
