    a) 3^x + 15 = 42
    ⇔ 3^x = 42 – 15
    ⇔ 3^x = 27
    ⇔ 3^x = 3^3
    ⇔ x = 3
    Vậy x = 3
    b) 5^x . 3 – 12 = 63
    ⇔ 3 . 5^x = 63 + 12
    ⇔ 3 . 5^x = 75
    ⇔ 5^x = 75 : 3
    ⇔ 5^x = 25
    ⇔ 5^x = 5^2
    ⇔ x = 2
    Vậy x = 2

    Lời giải và giải thích chi tiết:
     a) 3^x + 15=42
    ⇒3^x = 42-15
    ⇒3^x =27
    ⇒ 3^x = 3^3
    ⇒ x=3
    Vậy  x=3
    b) 5^x . 3 -12=63
    ⇒5^x .3 =63+12
    ⇒5^x .3 =75
    ⇒5^x = 75:3
    ⇒5^x =25
    ⇒ 5^x =5^2
    ⇒x=2
    Vậy  x=2
