    =((x^2)^2-1^2-x^4+3x^2-2)/(x^2-1)

    =(x^4-1-x^4+3x^2-2)/(x^2-1)

    =(3x^2-3)/(x^2-1)

    =(3(x^2-1))/(x^2-1)

    =3
