    Giải đáp+Lời giải và giải thích chi tiết:
     a) x(x – 2) + 3(x – 2) = 0
    ⇔ (x – 2)(x + 3) = 0           (Nhân tử chung là x – 2)
    ⇒ x – 2 = 0      ⇒ x = 2
    hoặc x + 3 = 0    ⇒ x = -3
    Vậy x = 2 hoặc x = -3
    b) (x² – 4x) + (5x – 20) = 0
    ⇔ x(x – 4) + 5(x – 4) = 0
    ⇔ (x – 4)(x + 5) = 0       (Nhân tử chung là x – 4)
    ⇒ x – 4 = 0          ⇒ x = 4
    hoặc x + 5 = 0    ⇒ x = -5
    Vậy x = 4 hoặc x = – 5

    Vậy S={2,-3}
    b) (x^2-4x)+(5x-20)=0
    ⇔x(x-4)+5(x-4)=0
    ⇔(x-4)(x+5)=0
    ⇔\(\left[ \begin{array}{l}x-4=0\\x+5=0\end{array} \right.\) 
    ⇔\(\left[ \begin{array}{l}x=4\\x=-5\end{array} \right.\) 
    Vậy S={4,-5}
