$\begin{array}{l} {\cos ^2}x + 3\sin x + 2m – 1 = 0\\ \Leftrightarrow \left( {1 – {{\sin }^2}x} \right) + 3\sin x + 2m – 1 = 0\\ \Leftrightarrow – {\sin ^2}x + 3\sin x + 2m = 0\\ \Leftrightarrow {\sin ^2}x – 3\sin x = 2m \end{array}$

Vì $-1\le \sin x\le 1$ nên ta vẽ đồ thị hàm số của đồ thị $x^2-3x$ trong khoảng $[-1;1]$. Để phương trình có nghiệm thì đường thẳng $y=2m$ cắt đồ thị trên trong khoảng đó nên từ đồ thị ta có:

$-2\le 2m\le 4\Rightarrow -1\le m\le 2$
